Wildcats Headed To Nationals

Charlotte, NC – The USCAA has announced bids and seeding for the Fall 2018 National Championships to be held in Virginia Beach, VA. The JWU Volleyball Team and Men's Soccer Team both earned bids

Women's Volleyball received the #2 overall seed. This is the second consecutive trip to nationals for the Wildcats. In pool play, JWU will take on #3 Christendom College and #6 Penn State DuBois. The top two teams from each pool will advance to a final four on Nov. 10, with the championship to follow on Nov. 11.

With a record of 15-14, JWU is led by Toniya Scott with 215 kills, Kendall Watson with 652 digs, and Moana Reid with 829 assists.

Head Coach Callie Phillips is relishing the opportunity to continue the season: "Our team is very excited to be the #2 seed in the tournament. We know that we can compete in this field, and we're now preparing for pool play. Thanks to everyone who has cheered us on this season. We're not done yet.

Men's Soccer will head to Virginia Beach as the #1 seed. The Wildcats will play #5 SUNY-ESF on Nov. 9 and #4 The King's College (NY) on Nov. 10. The top team from each pool advances to the championship game to be played on Nov. 12.

JWU is led in goals (6) and assists (4) by Weeb Isaac.
