Wildcats Sign Lenoir Native Fred Patterson

Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales Men's Basketball is proud to announce the signing of Fred Patterson of Lenior, NC for the 2018-19 season. Patterson, a 6'3" guard/forward is a 2017 graduate of South Caldwell High School and plans on majoring in Sports, Event, and Entertainment Management.

Patterson averaged 17.9 points per game during his senior year in high school. He as a two time team Most Valuable Player, and named to the Southern District 7 All-Conference Team on three occasions. 

Interim Head Coach Matthew Johnson describes what Patterson brings to the team. "Fred is an athletic wing that can shoot dribble, and pass the basketball. With Fred's versatility, he will bring depth to the wing position, athleticism, and toughness on the defensive side."

Patterson is the son of Shakia Wilkerson and Fred Patterson.
