Men's Basketball Takes Down Screaming Eagles On Road

Toccoa, GA - JWU Men's Basketball Team rode their hot-shooting, great defense, and solid rebounding to a road win over Toccoa Falls College on Saturday, 99-68.

The Wildcats (2-1) shot 44% from deep, and 52.9% overall. The Screaming Eagles (2-5) were also outrebounded by JWU, 41-32.

Five players scored in double digits for the Wildcats. Christian Creswell led the way with 19 points, followed by Majerle Poole (16), Robert Hobson (15), Kajuan Madden-McAfee (11), and Zyrion Wilkins (10).

Head Coach Dan Larkin was pleased with his team's effort: "Really happy about our performance against Toccoa Falls. We said before the game we would have to control the temp and the glass in order to win. Tremendous unselfishness across the board from our team, was really fun watching them push the ball on the pass in transition and making the extra pass in the half court."

JWU returns to the court on Nov 13 at Voorhees for a 7:00 pm tip-off.
