Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales University soccer player Danielle Doyle (Central Islip, NY/ Central Islip HS) has been named the USCAA Women's Soccer National Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 24.
It is the second time this season Doyle has received the honor, having been also named National Player of the Week on Sept. 26, and the third time in her career.
A junior midfielder, Doyle contributed six goals and three assists on the week as the Wildcats defeated USC-Lancaster 7-0 and USCAA #12 Christendom College 6-1.
Against USC-Lancaster on Oct. 17, Doyle had a career day with five goals and an assist. She followed up with a goal and two assists against Christendom three days later.
Doyle is currently tied for fourth in the USCAA in goals with 17 and is also fourth in total points with 43.
