Women's Soccer Falls To Falcons

Pineville, NC- JWU's Women's Soccer Team took on Pfeiffer University tonight in their final home game of the season, falling 3-7.

Pfeiffer (12-2) opened the scoring in the 9th minute on a Madeline Capel goal. Mackenzie Pruitt followed that with a natural hat trick with goals in the 15th, 17th, and 30th minutes.

The Falcons again opened the scoring in the second half with a goal in the 50th minute. JWU (5-10) would answer with a goal of their own in the 53rd minute with a Danielle Doyle strike to make it 5-1. Pfeiffer would tack on two more goals before the Wildcats scored their second goal in the 72nd minute of play. It was Doyle's 15th of the season and came off of an Emily Richard assist. Evelyn Garcia would finish the scoring for the day with a 76th minute goal from a Nya Hill assist to make the score 7-3.

Kylie Priddy finished with 7 saves on the day. 

JWU travels to Regent University for a 4:00 pm game on Nov. 2 to wrap up the regular season.
