JWU Suffers another Loss

This evening, Johnson & Wales University traveled to Winston Salem State University to take on the Rams. Unfortunately, JWU was unable to take the top and ended up falling short to the Rams 3 games to 0.

In game one the Wildcats would come out of the locker room with a slow start. They would begin to pick up their pace as the match would go on, but were unable to beat the Rams in game one. The Rams would take game one 25-13.

As the rest of the match went on, the Wildcats responded with many stretches of very strong defense. JWU succeeded in serving and had many catchy plays at the net. During game two and  three the Wildcats had multiple sizable leads. However, the Rams had power at the net and were consistent throughout the remainder of game two and three. The Rams took game two 25-20 and game three 25-23 respectively.

The Wildcats will host their second tri-match of the season this Saturday when they will play Spartanburg Methodist College at 3:00pm and Voorhees College at 7:00pm. Come on out to the JWU Student Center to cheer on the Wildcats!
