Wildcats Add Pasley's Athletic Ability and Work Ethic for 2013

Coach Callie Phillips and the JWU volleyball team are pleased to announce the addition of Lyrica Pasley to the JWU volleyball team.  Pasley will enter JWU in the fall as a sports/entertainment/event management major.  She is a senior at Kingstree High School in Kingtree, SC and is a multi-sport athlete who will play middle and outside hitter for the Wildcats.

In 2011, Pasley earned school MVP and all-region honors for volleyball.  She also received the most improved award for her basketball team.  In her free time, Pasley works with her mother at her salon, Flair by Tracy, and as a server at Grand Central Station.

"Lyrica's attitude and work ethic have impressed me greatly.  I think she will be a great addition to our program," said Coach Phillips. "I look forward to seeing her grow as a player and reach her potential on the court."

Pasley joins a recruiting class of five players for the 2013 season.  Sarah Slaughter, Summer Meredith, Lucy Herrmann, and Kylie Marquardt have also signed with the Wildcats.
