"I'm very encouraged by our play this weekend," said head coach Callie Phillips.  "We held our own in a USCAA tournament and improved our overall performance. We look forward to our home opener on Tuesday."

Johnson & Wales finished 2-1 at the eight-team event and will look to continue its momentum on Tuesday when it hosts Allen University.  The Wildcats will be looking to avenge last week's five-set loss to the Yellow Jackets in Columbia, SC.  Play is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Wildcat Center.
