Charlotte, NC - The Johnson & Wales University volleyball team lost its home opener in four sets on Tuesday, falling 24-26, 26-24, 25-20, 25-18 to NAIA foe Allen University.

"Not our best showing tonight," said head coach Callie Phillips.  "I tip my cap to Allen's determination as their fight to win the second set made the difference in this match.  We will continue to grow as a team and learn how to handle adversity better as we progress."
