Volleyball Takes Down NC Wesleyan At Home

Charlotte, NC - The JWU Women's Volleyball Team returned to their winning ways tonight, defeating NC Wesleyan, 3-0.

The first set was the tightest of the evening, with the Wildcats earning a 26-24 win. JWU finished the night by winning the next two sets over the Battling Bishops (4-9), both by a score of 25-20.

"This really was a team win tonight.  We made an effort to substitute our players in a manner consistent with our fluid offense," remarked Head Coach Callie Phillips.  "We were able to get contributions from many players and showcase many abilities tonight. We hope to continue this momentum tomorrow and throughout the rest of the week."

Iyana Favor led the Wildcats (10-5) in kills with 7. Moana Reid added 26 assists. Halle Franklin (11), Lynasia Felder (10), and Kendall Watson (10) paced JWU in digs.
