Wildcats Drop Road Match to Flyers

Pinehurst, NC - The JWU Women's Volleyball Team traveled to Sandhills Community College on Wednesday. The Wildcats were overpowered, 3-0.

The Flyers (20-3) came out strong in set one, winning 25-14. The Wildcats (12-12) battled in the second set before dropping the set, 24-26.  The third set saw #3 JWU fall, 20-25.

The Wildcats were led by Toniya Scott with 7 kills. Moana Reid had 16 assists to go with 12 digs. Halle Franklin paced the team with 16 digs with Kendall Watson adding 11 digs.

The Wildcats return to the court on Oct. 19 as they host Bob Jones University for a 5:30 pm match on Homecoming weekend.
