Virginia Beach, VA - The Johnson & Wales women's soccer team wrapped up play at the 2017 USCAA National Championships with a 2-2 tie against 9th seeded Penn State Brandywine. The Wildcats twice responded to Brandywine (10-2-2) goals to earn the draw. Danielle Doyle netted both JWU (10-6-1) goals. She was assisted by Abigail Durisseau and Grace Newbold.
The Wildcat men's soccer team used two second half goals to push past 10th seeded Penn State Brandywine for the second time this season. Jalen Jackson gave JWU an first half lead with his 30th goal of the season. Brandywine would respond to tie the match before halftime. Playing the second half with 10 men, the Wildcats saw defenders Chance Wiginton and Jason Rosales find the back of the net as JWU won their 17th match of the season.
