Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales has added a second local talent to their 2014-15 recruiting class. The Wildcats are excited to announce that Miles Boone from Southlake Christian in Huntersville has signed his national letter of intent to play for the Wildcats.

Boone was a key contributor to a Southlake team that went 17-8 during the 2013-14 regular season. The Eagles lost in the first round of the NCISAA 3A playoffs. Boone scored a career high 20 points on Dec. 16, 2013 in the Eagles six point triumph over Freedom Christian of Fayetteville.

Boone joins Bryson Rankin as local products who will suit up for the Wildcats this winter.
