Rollin' Hornets Visit JWU

Charlotte, NC -- The halftime entertainment at last weekend's JWU Invitational Tournament game between Johnson & Wales University and Barber-Scotia College was first class as the Rollin' Hornets brought their game to the JWU Student Center.  Five Rollin' Hornet players took on five JWU students in an eight-minute game of wheelchair basketball in front of the crowd.  The Rollin' Hornets showed off their ball-handling, shooting, and teamwork skills and won the game 6-0.  The team then sat courtside to watch the Wildcats defeat the Mighty Sabers by a score of 104-83.

Everyone enjoyed the halftime performance, and JWU hopes to host the Rollin' Hornets again soon!  Big thanks to Rollin' Hornets players Anna, Austin, Caroline, Josh, and Preston and their friends and families for coming out to the Wildcat game, and congratulations to Caroline, who made her first in-game basket!  Go Hornets!
