JWU Men's Basketball Enters Week 4-1 -- Division I Opponent, Division II Tourney Up Next

Charlotte, NC -- The JWU Men's Basketball Team finds itself 4-1 after the first two weeks of the season after defeating 3 USCAA and 1 NAIA opponents.  The week before Thanksgiving holds some exciting challenges for the Wildcats as they travel to The University of North Carolina at Asheville to battle their first NCAA Division I foe on November 19 and then participate in the JCSU Tip-Off Classic where they will face off with CIAA members Johnson C. Smith on November 21 and Livingstone College on November 22.

Wednesday's game against UNC-Asheville will be broadcast live at no cost on the Big South Network, and Wildcat fans can access it by clicking here or through the JWU schedule on the JWU Athletics website.  Game time is 7:00 PM.

Friday's game at the JCSU Tip-Off Classic is scheduled for 7:30 PM, when JWU will play the host team, Johnson C. Smith University.  Saturday's game against Livingstone College is set for 4:00 PM at Johnson C. Smith University.  Johnson C. Smith is right down the street, so come out to Brayboy Gymnasium and support your Wildcats and they take on the CIAA!

The JWU Ice Hockey Team will also be at a tournament this weekend in Hillborough, NC hosted by The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  They play November 21 at 9:30 PM, November 22 at 4:15 PM, and November 23 at a time yet to be determined.  Go Wildcats!
