Wildcats Fall To Presbyterian

Conway, SC - The Johnson & Wales men's basketball team returned to action after the Thanksgiving holiday and faced a tough opponent in NCAA D-1 Presbyterian College. The Blue Hose (3-4) proved to be too much for the Wildcats, shooting a season best 55.4% from the field en route to a 107-63 win.

JWU (2-4) was able to maintain contact with Presbyterian for the first 10 minutes of the first half, but the Blue Hose size and hot shooting soon began to take its toll. The hosts extended their lead to 22 at halftime and pulled away in the second half.

Alcyone Moore led the Wildcats with 11 points and 4 rebounds, while Rickey Porter and James Veal added 9 points each.

The Wildcats continue their 6 game road stretch as they visit Greensboro College on Wednesday, December 7th for a 7pm contest against the Pride.
