Men's Basketball Drops Fourth Straight, Falls at Greensboro 103-68

Greensboro, NC - Six players scored in double figures for Greensboro College as the Pride held of the Johnson & Wales men's basketball team 103-68 on Wednesday at the Hanes Gymnasium.

Senior forward Rickey Porter led Johnson & Wales (2-5) with a double-double, posting 15 points and 11 rebounds on the night.

Freshman guard Majerle Poole added 13 points for the Wildcats while sophomore forward Christian Creswell added 10 points in the losing effort.

It was the fourth straight loss for the Wildcats, all against NCAA-affiliated opponents.

Greensboro held Johnson & Wales to just 35 percent shooting from the floor, including just 5-for-20 from beyond the arc.  The Pride held the advantage in points in the paint (52-30), points off of turnovers (25-14) and bench points (42-22).

Zedric Barnett led all scorers with 18 points on the night for Greensboro.

Johnson & Wales resumes play on Saturday when the team travels to Charleston, SC, to play NCAA Division 1 opponent Charleston Southern.  Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
