Winston-Salem Native Ingram Signs With Men's Basketball

Charlotte, NC - Devin Ingram has joined the JWU Charlotte Men's Basketball program as announced by JWU Head Coach Dan Larkin. Ingram played for R.J. Reynolds High School under Coaches Billy Martin and Tony Fulton before spending the current year at Moravian Prep. The point guard from Winston-Salem, NC was recognized Central Piedmont All-Conference Team as well as all Northwest Team while leading R.J. Reynolds to two CPC conference titles and a final four appearance in the state playoffs.

"I chose JWU Charlotte because Coach Larkin has welcomed me with open arms since we first met and also to further my education at a school where I felt at home," said Ingram.

Devin is the son of Melvin Ingram and Stacy Johnson-Harris and plans to major in Business Studies.

"Devin has been on our radar from quite some time. It was apparent from the first time I saw him play that he would be a tremendous fit in our program and has the ability to make his mark right away in our multi guard system," commented Coach Larkin. "Devin has unbelievable burst and quickness and a real nose for the ball on the defensive end. We expect great things from Devin during his time here in Charlotte and are really looking forward to getting on court here in the Fall!"
