Concord Standout Jarrett Becomes First To Sign with JWU Golf

CHARLOTTE, NC—Johnson & Wales (NC) Head Men's Golf Coach Chris Jones announces local product Logan Jarrett as the first signee to the Wildcat Golf Program.

Jarrett was a four-year member of the Cox Mill High School Golf Team in Concord, NC under Head Coach Drew Anker. He also has extensive experience in events on the Tarheel Youth Golf Association (TYGA), Hurricane Junior, and Pinehurst Winternational Tours. In addition to golf, Jarrett also competed in the 2016 AAU Junior Olympics in track and field.

"Not only does JWU Charlotte have an incredible business program, it also offered me a great opportunity to play college golf," remarked Jarrett on his signing.

Logan is the son of David and Stacy Jarrett and has one sister, Riley. He plans to major in Business Administration.

"I'm excited to welcome Logan to the JWU-Charlotte Golf program," said Coach Jones. "He brings a lot of competitive experience to our young golf program and is also excellent in the classroom. I look forward to coaching Logan for the next four years."

JWU-Charlotte announced in the fall of 2019, the addition of Men's Golf to the athletic department that will start play in the 2020-21 academic year.
