Men's Soccer Starts Road Trip With Win

Pleasant Hills, PA- The Johnson & Wales Charlotte Men's Soccer Team kicked off a three game road trip with a match against Penn State University - Greater Allegheny on Friday. The Wildcats started the trip with a victory, taking down PSU-GA 9-0. 

The scoring began in the fourth minute of play when Zack Savage slid a free kick into the bottom right corner. 15 minutes later, a diving header from Weeb Isaac on an Ian Triplett cross would stretch the game to 2-0. Then, Triplett would find Brandon Greene in the 36th minute to take the game into halftime 3-0.

The Wildcats poured it on in the second half, beginning with Jack Watters finding Savage for the header in the 58th minute. Shortly after, a Josiah Davis header, assisted by Chris Garcia, made it 5-0 in the 60th minute, with Brandon Greene's second of the day coming just a minute later. Davis would assist a Robert Marin goal, then a Victor Lucero free kick and Diaje' Hart penalty kick would cap the scoring. 

The Wildcats return to action on Saturday when they take on Penn State University- Beaver at 2:00 pm.
