New Kensington, PA- After defeating PSU Greater Allegheny and PSU Beaver, the JWU Men's Soccer Team completed its three game road trip with a matchup against Penn State University- New Kensington. The Wildcats finished the sweep with a 7-0 victory. The first half saw the Wildcats frustrated by PSU keeper Christopher Zolet, as shot after shot was turned away. Two Diaje' Hart penalty kicks were the only tallies of the half. JWU would come to life in the second. Chance Wiginton would finish the Connor Savageau service in the 48th minute to open the lead to 3-0. Ten minutes later, Wiginton turned helper, this time setting up a goal for Zack Savage. Josiah Davis got on the board in the 70th minute for JWU before setting up Shawn Geiger just three minutes later. Anthony Umana would convert from the penalty spot in the 90th minute for the final goal of the trip. The Wildcats move to 5-0 on the young season and return to the field on September 14th with a 4:45 pm kick off versus Piedmont International University.
