Kernersville's Comeaux is Cross Country's First Signee

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Johnson & Wales Charlotte Cross Country Coach Peter Brown welcomes Dustin Comeaux as the newest member of the inaugural recruiting class. Comeaux come sto Charlotte from Kernersville, NC where he ran cross country and track for Glenn High School. At Glenn, he was recognized as program MVP twice and won the Coach's Award on two occasions. He was also named MVP at Cornerstone Charter Academy before moving to GHS. Comeaux credits Coaches Dennis Yocum and Randy Dunbar from Rober B. Glenn HS and Coach Ken Paul from Kentwood High School "for training me and teaching me much about running", and investing "countless hours to make sure I became a better and stronger runner."

"I chose JWU because of the way they set up their education system," replied Comeaux when asked why he chose Johnson & Wales. "Not only do we study about our future jobs, but we are also able to train and work in our fields and get a full understanding about our future work environments."

Dustin, a two time Honors student in high school, is the son of Ryan and Danielle Comeaux. He plans to major in Business Administration.

"I'm thrilled to add Dustin to our inaugural cross country team," commented Coach Brown on his latest signing. "He is a highly motivated young man with a strong work ethic and will to succeed."
