Georgia Runner Hildreth Signs With JWU Cross Country

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Caleb Hildreth is the newest member of the JWU Charlotte Men's Cross Country Team, as announced by Head Coach Peter Brown. He is the third incoming freshman to join the inaugural team. He hails from Eatonton, GA, where he ran cross country for Putnam County High School. During his scholastic career, he was honored as a Georgia Merit Scholar Award recipient.

"My high school culinary teacher is an alumnus, and it is relatively close to home," Hildreth said on choosing Johnson & Wales.

Caleb is the son of Chris and Angela Hildreth and plans to major in Culinary Arts.

"I am thrilled to have Caleb join our Men's Cross Country team. He is a well-rounded young man, with many interests," said Coach Brown. "He brings Cross Country running experience to our young team and will provide valuable leadership."

Hildreth's favorite quote is, "Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard."
