Charlotte, NC - A balanced offensive effort by the Johnson & Wales women's basketball team paced the Wildcats to an 89-47 victory over Columbia International University on Wednesday at the Wildcat Center.

All 12 players scored for Johnson & Wales (4-2), led by Vanderia Shackleford's 15 points and six assists.  The Wildcats shot nearly 57 percent for the game while holding Columbia International to just 28 percent shooting on 19-of-67 from the floor.

Jaquana Pauling (14 points), Donyelle Stuetley (10), and Bianca Covington (10) also scored in double figures for Johnson & Wales.

Columbia International was led by Liz Jenkins with 13 points.

The Wildcats outscored the visitors 40 to 18 in the paint while the bench came up big with a 35-11 advantage.

The win snaps a two-game skid for the Wildcats.  The 42-point victory is the team's largest margin of victory this season and the second largest in program history.

Johnson & Wales will resume play on Friday when the team travels to NCAA D1 opponent North Carolina Central.  Tip-off is at 6:00 p.m.
