Greeneville, TN - The JWU Women's Basketball Team battled Tusculum University on Friday, coming up short against the NCAA D2 opponent, 109-53.
Highlights:
- JWU shot 32% from the field, but 50% on three pointers, connecting on seven threes.
- The Wildcats converted 16 of 26 free throws.
- The Wildcats were out-rebounded by the Pioneers, 53-43.
- JWU lost the turnover battle 45-13, resulting in a 49-7 disadvantage in points off turnovers.
- The Wildcats were outscored 48-14 in the paint and 71-14 in bench points.
- Jada Morgan led JWU with 12 points, including going 3 of 6 from three. She also added five rebounds.
- Shannon Martin went 3 of 6 from the three point line.
- Justice Wallace had 10 points and 8 rebounds. It was her fifth straight double digit scoring performance.
- The loss has JWU sitting at 4-3 on the season.
