Spivey-Simms Set To Join JWU Women's Basketball

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Johnson & Wales Charlotte Women's Basketball Coach Ashley Raley-Ross announced Keyziyah Spivey-Simms as the newest member of the 2020 recruiting class. The 6'4" center is originally from Raleigh, NC, but graduated from Godby High School in Tallahassee, FL.

"Coach Ashley reminds me of my high school coach. She will push me to my best ability," said Spivey Simms on why she chose Johnson & Wales. "JWUWBB seems like the team that's not only about basketball but also building us into better women. The school is also close to my home town which is good."

Keyziyah is the daughter of Nisha Simms & Seth Spivey and plans to major in Fashion Retail and Merchandising.

"Keyziyah fits perfectly at JWU and with our team. Her work ethic in the classroom and on the court will impact our team immediately," commented Coach Raley-Ross on her latest signing. "I am extremely excited about getting to work with Keyziyah and helping her achieve the goals she has set for herself at the next level! I am thankful she is a Wildcat!"
