Women's Soccer Falls To UCC

Pineville, NC - JWU's Women's Soccer Team took to the field in a USCAA Top 10 matchup against Cincinnati Clermont College. The Wildcats dropped the contest to a strong UCC side, 7-1.

The Cougars (5-1) were led by Taylor Greene's natural hat trick in the first ten minutes of the game. She would finish with 5 goals on the afternoon. In the 15th minute, Danielle Doyle gave the #7 Wildcats hope as she finished the pass from Jaedan Smith. #4 UCC answered with two more goals in the first half before finishing with two more in the second.

Sarah Toler had 5 saves to lead JWU (2-4). In addition to her goal, Doyle finished with five shots, three on goal.

The Wildcats play again tomorrow, Sept. 30, at home vs #6 Warren Wilson College at 2:00 pm.
