T.L Hanna's Cathey Inks With Women's Soccer

Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte Women's Soccer Coach Matt Hisler is pleased to announce Brooklyn Cathey as the newest member of the 2019 Wildcat recruiting class. The forward from Anderson, SC has represented her school, T. L. Hanna, as well as Clemson Anderson Soccer Alliance.

Brooklyn is the daughter of Autumn and Daniel Cathey and plans to major in Hotel and Lodging Management. She is an Honors Graduate and a member of the National Honor Society.

"I am focusing my education and career on hospitality and JWU is one of the best Universities to study this major," replied Brooklyn when asked why she chose JWU Charlotte. "I'm excited for the hard work and new memories to come with my new JWU teammates"

"Brooklyn was a late surprise for our recruiting class.  Her speed and quickness are impressive, but both are overshadowed by Brooklyn's committed work ethic," commented Coach Hisler. "She has a great competitive spirit about her which will be a great asset for her as she grows into her game. The combination of physical attributes, habits, and mentality could allow her to be an imposing player at our level.  I look forward to working with her and seeing her develop into a top level attacking talent."
