Buccaneers Break the Lady Wildcats Winning Streak

Hickory, NC - The Lady Wildcats (10-4, 5th in the USCAA Coaches Poll) traveled to Hickory this evening to take on the Buccaneers of Catawba Valley Community College. JWU had opportunities but were unable to perform to their ability, losing the match in three games.

Game one ended in a close score of 26-24. JWU fought hard in game two, but fell short 25-16. The third and final game of the match ended in a score of 26-24.

Kaitlin Kuntz led the team with 28 assists and 20 digs. Moriah Hughes had a total of 13 kills.

The Lady Wildcats are next in action at home taking on the Storm of Davidson County Community College on Thursday, September 27th. Match time is set for 7pm.
