Volleyball Into Championship With Dominant Performance

Virginia Beach, VA - JWU's Volleyball Team is in the finals at the USCAA D2 National Championships thanks to a 3-0 victory over #4 Penn State Fayette.

#2 JWU won in three sets for the third straight match with scores of 25-20, 25-23, and 25-16. The Wildcats (18-14) will now play Christendom in the National Championship on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 3:30 pm, while Fayette (22-9) will play UC Clermont in the consolation game.

Head Coach Callie Philips on the game: "We are playing our best at the right time. Our team is working hard together and bringing out the best in each other. We are excited to be playing for a championship tomorrow."

Toniya Scott had 13 kills, Kendall Watson had 22 digs, and Moana Reid had 31 assists to lead the Wildcats.
