Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales University Charlotte has announced Isabelle LeMaster as the newest member of the 2019 signing class. Isabelle comes to JWU from Chardon, Ohio, where she played for Chardon High School. The middle hitter also represented Force Volleyball Club.
Isabelle doesn't just excel on the court, but also in the classroom. While in high school she has been recognized as Valedictorian, Scholar Athlete, National Merit Scholarship Finalist, and AP Scholar With Distinction. The daughter of Jared and Elizabeth, she plans to major in Baking and Pastry Arts and Food Service Management.
"I wanted to pursue baking and pastry but I also wanted to get a business degree, and JWU allows me to do both," responded Isabelle when asked why she chose JWU. "I also really love Charlotte and all of the Carolinas, and I am super excited to be able to continue my volleyball career in college."
Wildcats Head Coach Callie Phillips is excited to work with Isabelle: "Isabelle has the potential to make an immediate impact on our campus and our volleyball team. She is a committed student and excels in the classroom, and she applies the same work ethic on the court. I'm so excited that she chose JWU Charlotte."
