Winston-Salem, NC - History was made on Saturday afternoon as the Johnson & Wales Charlotte softball program played its first two games in school history at Salem College. The host Spirits won 12-0 in game one and 12-2 in game two. JWU scored twice in the top of the third inning in game two for the program's first runs.
Katie Douglas led off the inning with a single, stole second base, and moved to third on a
Na'Tazeigha Jenkins groundout. She then scored when
Aubree Warren reached base on a fielding error.
Natalie Dickson then doubled to left field, bringing home Warren.
