High School: Jorge graduated from Grapevine High School, where he posted personal records of 16:26 in the 5k, 10:20.38 in the 3200, 4:45.95 in the mile, and 1:59.13 in the 800. He earned numerous awards, including being a 2x All-District athlete, HOKA Trophy winner for the 800m, 2x All-Region athlete, 800m District Champion and District Runner-Up, as well as an Area and Regional Qualifier in the 800m. In cross country, Jorge was part of district and regional championship teams, qualified for the state meet, was named one of the Top 100 boys in Texas, and was also a Texas Relays qualifier.
Personal Background: Jorge is a freshman from Arlington, Texas, studying Culinary Arts. He competes in cross country as well as the 5k, mile, and 800m for the Wildcats. Jorge is the son of Jorge and Maria Garcia and has two siblings, Yandel and Axel Garcia.
