2024-2025 Season: Abby had an impressive freshman season, setting personal records in both the discus and shot put with throws of 86’11” in discus and 29’4.25” in shot put. She also placed 9th in both events at the USCAA National Championships. Off the field, Abby excelled academically, earning the Outstanding Speaker Award, the Student Employment Spotlight Award, a Leadership Workshop Certification, and making the Dean’s Honor Roll twice.
High School Accomplishments: Abby graduated from Kremlin-Hillsdale High School, where she recorded marks of 66’ in discus and 20.71 in the 100 hurdles. Beyond athletics, she was highly involved in leadership and service, participating in the National Honor Society, Technical National Honor Society, and serving as both a SkillsUSA State Officer and National President. She was also active as a high school class officer.
Personal Background: Abby is a sophomore from Kremlin, Oklahoma, studying Culinary Nutrition. She competes for the Wildcats in the shot put, discus, and javelin. She is the daughter of Lindsay Henry, Chris Henry, and Casey Vandiver, and has two siblings: Gracie Vandiver and Trace Henry.
