Bob Bryant

Bryant joined the JWU golf staff in 2026.

Most recently, Bryant was the President & CEO of the 500 Festival, a nonprofit community organization founded in 1957 to create positive community impact, enrich lives and celebrate the Indy 500. The organization produces over 30 events and programs for 500,000 participants annually with the support of a full-time staff of 20, 33 board directors, 3,000 volunteers, 80 corporate partners and 12 full-time interns. 

He has previously served as the Tournament Director of the BB&T Atlanta Open, an ATP World Tour event and first stop of the US Open Series.  Tournament champions included Mardy Fish, John Isner and Andy Roddick. 

Bryant’s past roles include Founder & CEO of Team Works Marketing, VP of Off-Channel Commerce and Partnerships for Cartoon Network and Time Warner, Marketing Manager for Universal Studios Florida, Marketing Director for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and Disney On Ice touring shows and General Manager of a minor league hockey team and arena football team. 

His notable golf experience includes playing on the O’Neal School team in Pinehurst, NC, hosting the inaugural Solheim Cup at Universal Studios, and serving on numerous organizing committees for charitable golf tournaments. 

Bryant graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Advertising and from West Virginia University with a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications. He resides with his wife and four children in Gastonia, NC where he serves on the City’s Sports & Entertainment Commission and is a member at Gaston Country Club.
