Wildcats Drop First Home Game of The Season

The Johnson & Wales Wildcats got off to a slow start this evening. The Wildcats struggled to consistently execute on the offensive end.

Barber-Scotia was able to score repeatedly from the line as JWU experienced some early foul trouble.

The Sabers turned up the pressure with a full court press, forcing the Wildcats to turn over the ball giving the Sabers a 10 point lead.

The Wildcats, however, responded with a 12 - 6 run to pull within 4 points at the half.

The Johnson & Wales Wildcats carried the momentum into the second half, trimming Barber-Scotia's lead to one point.

Unfortunately, fouls and turnovers returned, plaguing the Wildcats throughout the second half.

Barber-Scotia College went on a 10 point run and never looked back. The Sabers relied on their inside game to build a 20 point plus lead. The Sabers held off a late run from the Wildcats to capture a 68-50 point win over the JWU Wildcats.
