The Sabers turned up the pressure with a full court press, forcing the Wildcats to turn over the ball giving the Sabers a 10 point lead.
The Wildcats, however, responded with a 12 - 6 run to pull within 4 points at the half.
The Johnson & Wales Wildcats carried the momentum into the second half, trimming Barber-Scotia's lead to one point.
Unfortunately, fouls and turnovers returned, plaguing the Wildcats throughout the second half.
Barber-Scotia College went on a 10 point run and never looked back. The Sabers relied on their inside game to build a 20 point plus lead. The Sabers held off a late run from the Wildcats to capture a 68-50 point win over the JWU Wildcats.
