In a Battle Between Cats, the Bobcats Come Out Victorious

In a battle between the Johnson & Wales University Wildcats, and the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College, Lees- McRae college came out victorious on Saturday afternoon.

Johnson & Wales University struggled early in the game, knocking down shots from fthe floor. The Wildcats shot only 30.5 % from the field, while the Bobcats from Lees-McRae College shot 55.6% from the floor, including a 46.7% clip from beyond the arch.
 
Lees-McRae broke the game open late in the first half of play, while the Wildcats continued to hinder themselves, as they continually turned the ball over during the course of the contest.
 
Johnson & Wales University were paced by sophomore forward/center Michael Daniel who recorded his first career double-double scoring 17 points, and pulling down 11 rebounds. Sophomore guard, Rodrick Latimer, also chipped in 12 points for the Wildcats.
 
The wildcats look to record their first win of the season at home on Tuesday, when they take on Emmanuel College. Game time is set for 7pm at Queens University.
