The Wildcats hosted a home match this evening against the Buccaneers of Catawba Valley Community College. JWU was unable to take the victory. Catawba Valley took the match 3 games to 0.
The Wildcats started the match evenly with the Buccaneers. Both teams came into the match ready to play, but the Wildcats shortly lost their momentum. CVCC went on a 10-1 run and continued to take a larger lead. JWU could not catch back up to their opponents due to troubles they had with their attacking plays.
Catawba Valley Community College never looked back, keeping control of the net throughout the remainder of the night. The Buccaneers swept the match 3 games to 0. Game one ended with a score of 25-11, game two was 25-18, and game three was 25-15.
The Wildcats will be hosting their last home match of the season this Friday, October 21st at 7:00pm. The match will take place in the JWU Student Center gymnasium. Come cheer on the Wildcats in their final match of the season!
