On Thursday evening, the Wildcats traveled to Hickey, North Carolina to take on the Buccaneers of Catawba Valley Community College, with hopes on winning their second game in a row after defeating Johnson C. Smith University on Tuesday.
Unfortunately JWU fell behind early in game one to the Buccaneers. CVCC would quickly earn a 10 point lead and take game one easily.
The Wildcats will play better after the first game; however the Buccaneers played solid overall defense and were consistently aggressive in front row attacks.
Catawba Valley Community College won the match 3 games to 0.
The Wildcats take on Central Carolina Community College on Tuesday, September 27 in the Student Center.
