Sumter, SC - The Lady Wildcats (9-3) (Ranked 5th in the USCAA Coaches Poll) hit the road for a two game weekend swing through South Carolina. They took on the Hornets of Morris College Friday night.  Riding the momentum of a five match winning streak, JWU beat the Hornets 3 games to 1.

The Lady Wildcats took games one and two fairly easily , 25-18 and 25-14.  JWU fell short in game three, losing 22-25, but fought back to win game four, 25-19.  Kaitlin Kuntz led the team with 42 assists and 4 service aces. Moriah Hughes had 12 kills, while Shanna Stewart added 10 more. Reanna Bray, celebrated her birthday by also adding 10 kills to the team's total.

The Lady Wildcats continue their South Carolina trip as they take on the Tigers of Voorhees College on Saturday, September 22nd.  Match time set for 1pm.
