Wildcats Come Roaring Back To Earn Win

Kinston, NC - The Lady Wildcats (2-1) took on the Knights of Surry Community College in their final match of the Lenoir CC Tri-Match. After digging themselves a hole, the Lady Wildcats fought back to win the match by a score of 3-2.

Games one and two each ended in 25-23 SCC victories. JWU was able to fight back and won the final three games, 25-21, 25-17, and 15-13.

Moriah Hughes  paced JWU with 22 service points, 17 kills, and 12 digs. Tori Dublino led the team with 25 digs. Kylie Marquardt added 20 assists and Jazmyne Williams tallied 5 blocks.

The Lady Wildcats are next in action on Tuesday, August 27 when they travel to Spartanburg Methodist College.  Match time set for 7:00 pm
