Box Score 2 Charlotte, NC – The Lady Wildcats (12-7)
(7th in the USCAA Coaches Poll) traveled to Elizabeth
City today to play in the Mid-Atlantic Christian University
tri-match. JWU swept the tri-match, taking a 3-0 win against both
Mid-Atlantic Christian University and Trinity Baptist College.
The Lady Wildcats played against the MACU Mustangs in their
first match of the day. Game scores were 25-4, 25-14, and
25-9. Kylie
Marquardt led the team with 10 assists and 4 service aces.
Moriah
Hughes added 11 kills. Summer
Meredith contributed 9 digs.
JWU went on to compete against the Eagles of Trinity Baptist
College in their second match of the tri-match. Game one
ended with a score of 25-13, game two 25-14, and game three 25-13.
Hughes had 14 kills and 11 digs. Lucy Herrmann
had 5 service aces, 3 kills, and 3 blocks. Marquardt added 15
assists.
The Lady Wildcats are next in action at home on Tuesday, October
1st at 7pm when they take on the Catawba Valley
Community College Buccaneers.
