Box Score Pinehurst, NC – The Lady Wildcats (2-4) traveled to Pinehurst to take on the Sandhills Community College Flyers coming off a close 5-game loss against Guilford Technical Community College. This match would prove to be another tight-knit affair that would go the full five games. JWU started off strong, but SCC would rally in the end, winning the match 3 games to 2.
JWU won the first two games 25-15. The Flyers were able to pull ahead taking the next three games with scores of 25-15, 25-18, and 15-7.
Tori Dublino led the team with 28 digs and 15 service points. Kylie Marquardt had a total of 18 assists.
The Lady Wildcats are next in action this weekend when they travel to Livingstone College to take part in the Livingstone College Tournament on Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th.
