Montreat, NC -- In a battle with NAIA Montreat College Monday night, the Lady Wildcat Basketball Team fell just short in the end, losing by a score of 68-63.  The game was back and forth all night, but the Wildcats were not able to pull out the win down the stretch.  Courtney Pate played all forty minutes and led the Wildcats with 19 points and 5 assists.  Justina Tyler also turned in a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in forty minutes from the point guard position.  The team was without two regular starters and still gave the Cavaliers a tough time.  

JWU falls to 3-11 after losing their second straight game by five or fewer points.  Next up for the Wildcats is Allen University in Columbia, SC Friday night.  Game time is set for 7:00 PM.
