Box Score Charlotte, NC - The Johnson & Wales women's basketball team was held to just 28% shooting in a 71-33 loss at NCAA Division II program Queens University on Wednesday.
The Wildcats (2-4) were led by senior Donyelle Stuetley with 10 points and eight rebounds. As a team, Johnson & Wales shot just 11-of-39 from the floor and were forced into 23 turnovers by their in-city rivals. The Royals also held a 40-27 advantage on the glass.
Precillya Dixon and Bianca Covington each added seven points for Johnson & Wales.
Queens was paced by Carmen Richardson's 22 points.
The Wildcats will resume play on Dec. 4 when they travel to Johnson C. Smith University. Tip-off is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
