Greenville, SC - Sophomore Rickey Porter torched Bob Jones University for 35 points as the Johnson & Wales men's basketball team picked up a 71-68 victory on the road Tuesday.

Porter finished an eye-popping 14-of-17 from the floor for the Wildcats (5-4), including 7-of-9 from the charity stripe.  His performance helped the team snap a three-game skid - a streak that included two losses to NCAA Division 1 foes.

Nicholas Crawford finished with 14 points for Johnson & Wales and tied Porter for the team lead with eight rebounds on the night.  Joshua Cohen added 10 points for the visitors.

Bob Jones was led by Kyle Turner with 19 points.

The Wildcats will resume play on Saturday when they host Florida College.  Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
