"I was happy with our control of the tempo in this match," said Wildcats head coach Callie Phillips. "We pushed it the whole time and worked together as a team. This was a nice win for us."
In the nightcap, Herrmann's 10 kills led the way as Johnson & Wales held off the host Yellowjackets.
Thrift collected 16 assists while Erika Ross and Samantha Johnson collected 10 and seven digs, respectively.
"This was another nice win for us," said Phillips. "We were tested with a key injury, but our whole team stepped up to close out the sweep. We were pushed to the limit in Game 3, but we were able to close the door and claim the game. I'm proud of my young team for making that happen."
