Box Score Greensboro, NC - The Johnson & Wales women's volleyball team lost in four sets at Greensboro College on Tuesday, falling by the scores of 25-14, 25-19, 22-25, 25-11.
The Lady Wildcats (16-7) came into the game looking for the 100th victory in program history, but were made to wait by the Pride, who also defeated Johnson & Wales 3-1 earlier in the season.
"The little things got us tonight," said head coach Callie Phillips. "We struggled to stay consistent on our side of the court and created opportunities for them in the process. These matches show us what we can continue to work on over the last month of our season."
Lucy Herrmann finished with 11 kills and 15 digs for Johnson & Wales. Donna Harris finished with 28 assists while Halle Franklin led defensively with 20 digs.
The Lady Wildcats will get another chance to earn the program's 100th win on Friday when they host Toccoa Falls College. Play is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Wildcat Center.
