Charlotte, NC - The Johnson & Wales volleyball team eased to a straight set Homecoming victory over Mid-Atlantic Christian University on Friday, winning 25-8, 25-12, 25-15 at the Wildcat Center.

Lucy Herrmann posted 15 kills for the Lady Wildcats (19-8), while Toniya Scott added 10 kills.

"We demonstrated a lot of consistency tonight," said head coach Callie Phillips.  "I'm pleased with the way we controlled the match and played our style throughout.  We also got contributions from the entire team tonight, and that always makes us a happy group."

Donna Harris finished with 25 assists while Halle Franklin and Johmillet Berrios had 15 and 13 digs, respectively.

The Lady Wildcats will resume play on Tuesday when they travel to Raleigh, NC, to play Wake Tech Community College.  Play is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
