Box Score Charlotte, NC - The USCAA #6 Johnson & Wales men's basketball team celebrated senior night in style, defeating visiting Bob Jones University 85-76 at the Wildcat Center on Tuesday.
The Wildcats (12-12) had five different players reach double figures on the night. Senior Nicholas Crawford led the way with his performance of 18 points, eight rebounds, five steals, and five assists - all game highs.
Rickey Porter added 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting while Tolbert Holmes scored a career high 14 points, including 4-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc. Joshua Cohen and Sherer Desinor each chipped in with 12 points for the Wildcats.
The win was the second over Bob Jones for Johnson & Wales this season, following a 71-68 win in Greenville, SC, on Dec. 8.
For the game, Johnson & Wales shot a blistering 56% from the field and dominated the visitors down low, outscoring them 46-16 in the paint.
Dustin Killough and Marshall Riddle each scored 16 points for Bob Jones.
Prior to the game, Crawford and Cohen were honored alongside student assistant Doug Wamsley as part of the senior night festivities.
The Wildcats will resume play on Thursday when they host College of Faith. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
